Rowse is a 400 year old, Grade 2 listed farmhouse set in a beautiful location in South East Cornwall. No longer a working farm, Rowse sits in its own private, very peaceful 70 – acre estate made up of lush fields, beautiful hedgerows, woodland, streams, leafy lanes, ponds and gardens.

Over the past seven years the owners have restored the property, and have paid great attention to preserving the environment and abundant wild life, including deer, foxes, badgers, otters and many species of wild birds. The only animals kept at Rowse now are horses, which include two Dartmoor rescue ponies and a little Shetland. Sheep graze on peacefully on the hill in summer. Rowse is a little peace of Cornwall – unspoilt, tranquil and a place to relax.

Rowse has three holiday cottages – Skyber, Tikkidew and Kellywyk. All are traditional and stone built, and have been skilfully converted to a high standard by the current owners, who live on site.

You can just step outside and take a morning stroll along the promenade or to the quaint inns and restaurants of historic Chapel Street just a short walk away. Or just enjoy the ever changing views of Mounts Bay from the Cottage window, use the binoculars to watch the fishing boats cast off for their daily catch.
