LUXURY HOLIDAY COTTAGES AT ROWSE FARM, PILLATON, CORNWALL, PL12 6QU, ENGLAND

If you are looking for luxury, self-catering holiday cottages in Cornwall, you will find three at Rowse Farm!

Rowse is a 400 year old, Grade 2 listed farmhouse set in a beautiful location in South East Cornwall. No longer a working farm, Rowse sits in its own private, very peaceful 70 – acre estate made up of lush fields, beautiful hedgerows, woodland, streams, leafy lanes, ponds and gardens.

Sounds good? It is! Rowse offers its guests a great holiday in beautiful surroundings. And it is easy to reach many of the famous tourist attractions of both Cornwall and Devon.

Over the past seven years the owners have restored the property, and have paid great attention to preserving the environment and abundant wild life, including deer, foxes, badgers, otters and many species of wild birds. The only animals kept at Rowse now are horses, which include two Dartmoor rescue ponies and a little Shetland. Sheep graze on peacefully on the hill in summer. Rowse is a little peace of Cornwall – unspoilt, tranquil and a place to relax.

South East Cornwall has changed little over the years, and visitors can enjoy spectacular cliff walks, beautiful beaches, the Moors or National Trust properties such as Cotehele or Mount Edgecombe. The city of Plymouth with its shops, cinemas and theatre, National Marine Aquarium, the historic Barbican or the famous Hoe is only 30 minutes away.

Or visitors can simply explore picturesque Cornish villages, walk on the cliffs or Moors, enjoy sailing, horse riding, fishing or indoor swimming, sports and golf at St Mellion or China Fleet.

Many visitors know Cornwall for its stunning beaches, surfing, St Ives, the Eden Project, Polperro, Looe, Mousehole, Padstow or Lands End. All these famous locations, and many more are within easy reach for guests staying at Rowse.

For those visiting Cornwall from Europe, Rowse is a popular destination. In 2010 Rowse has welcomed many guests from Germany, Austria, Holland. Norway, France and Italy. Even Australia and America!

‘From the first enquiry we make sure the booking process is very personal and everyone’s holiday is exactly what they want. We always welcome everyone personally on arrival.’ says Andrew Martin, owner of Rowse. ‘We know people have often had a long journey, and all they want to do is relax immediately. We offer them a ‘home from home’ in beautiful surroundings at a good price.’

‘It is important to us everyone has a good holiday. We do have many return guests, as can be seen from our guest books, so we must be doing something right!’
